Make it louder or quieter

Let us go through this together, one little step at a time.

1. 1Start playing a video or a song.
2. 2This makes the next part easy to see.
3. 3Look along the edges of your phone or tablet.
4. 4The buttons are usually on one side.
5. 5On some tablets they are along the top.
6. 6Find two long buttons close together.
7. 7One sits just above the other.
8. 8Those are the volume buttons.
9. 9There may be one more button on its own.
10. 10That one is the power button.
11. 11Leave the power button alone for now.
12. 12Press the top button to make it louder.
13. 13Press the other button to make it quieter.
14. 14Watch the screen as you press.
15. 15A small bar moves up or down.
16. 16Did it change the wrong way? Just press the other button.
17. 17Nothing is harmed.
18. 18Stop when the sound feels just right for you.
