Search the web for an answer

Let us go through this together, one little step at a time.

Tap each step once you have done it. This is just for you. Nothing is timed, and nothing can go wrong.

1. 1Find your web browser or search app.
2. 2Look for a round, colorful icon, or one that says Search.
3. 3Tap or click it to open it.
4. 4Find the wide box where you can type.
5. 5It is usually near the top of the screen.
6. 6On some phones it sits near the bottom.
7. 7Tap or click inside that box.
8. 8Type your question in normal, everyday words.
9. 9For example, type how do I boil an egg.
10. 10On a phone, tap Search, Go, or the magnifying glass.
11. 11On a computer, press the Enter key.
12. 12A list of results will appear below.
13. 13Tap or click any result that looks helpful.
14. 14Read it to find your answer.
15. 15If nothing helps, check your spelling or use fewer words.
16. 16Then send your question again.
