Staying safe

Someone texted me asking for money. Could it be an AI scam?

Slow down and check before you ever send money to a stranger.

Scam texts often rush you. They say you must pay now or something bad will happen.

They may pretend to be a bank, a delivery, or even family. AI can help them sound very real.

Here is the calm truth. A real bank or family member will not mind if you check first.

When a text wants money or a code, treat it as a maybe scam until you are sure.

Try this
  1. Do not tap any link in the text.
  2. Do not send money, gift cards, or codes.
  3. Find the real phone number yourself and call to check.
  4. If it feels like a scam, delete it and block the number.
