Let us make a password that is strong and easy to recall. We will use a fun trick with three words.

On most phones and computers
  1. Pick three words that have nothing to do with each other.
  2. For example, choose Blue, Garden, and Spoon.
  3. Put the three words together as one word.
  4. Now you have BlueGardenSpoon.
  5. Add the number 7 at the end.
  6. Now you have BlueGardenSpoon7.
  7. Make the first letter of each word a capital letter.
  8. This helps your password stay strong.
  9. Remember, longer passwords are stronger. Three real words are already nice and long.
  10. Do not use your name or your pet's name.
  11. Do not use your birthday. Strangers can guess those.
  12. Say your password quietly in your head a few times.
  13. Do this on your own, not out loud near other people.

Buddy’s tip

Worried you will forget? Write it on paper. Keep that paper somewhere safe at home, like a drawer. Do not write the website name next to it.

Three unrelated words plus a number makes a strong, easy password.
