I do not see my old chats in the list anymore. Where did they go?

Try not to panic. Your chats are usually still there.
Often the list is just hidden, or you are signed in to a different account.
A few simple checks usually bring them right back.
Try this
- Make sure you are signed in to the same account as before.
- Look for a small menu icon to open the side list of chats.
- Refresh the page by reloading your browser.
- If a search box is there, type a word you remember using.
