ChatGPT answered, but I do not understand the answer at all.
You will learn how to ask ChatGPT to explain its answer like you are new.
A confusing answer is not your fault. Sometimes ChatGPT uses big words.
You are allowed to ask again. You can ask it to make the answer simpler.
This works every time. The more you ask, the easier the answer gets.
Try this
- Stay in the same chat.
- Tell it the answer was confusing.
- Ask it to explain in very simple words.
- Ask it to use an example if that helps.
- Keep asking until it makes sense.
A message you can copy
That answer was confusing for me. Please explain it again in very simple words, like I am brand new. A short example would help.
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.
Buddy says
You can ask ChatGPT to explain it like you are a kind, smart adult who is just new to this.
