You will get the help you want while protecting your loved ones' privacy.

It is fine to ask for help with family matters. Many people do.

You can get good help without using real names. Just say my son or my sister instead.

Leave out things that could point to a real person. Like full names, addresses, or birth dates.

This keeps your family private and still lets ChatGPT help you well.

Try this
  1. Use words like my daughter instead of a real name.
  2. Skip home addresses, phone numbers, and birth dates.
  3. Share only what is needed to answer your question.
A message you can copy

My adult [son or daughter] is going through a hard time. Can you help me find kind words to say? Please keep your ideas gentle and short.

Paste it into ChatGPT, then change the words in brackets to fit you. It opens in a new tab, so you will not lose this page.
