You will learn what to try when a link will not open.
You tapped a link and nothing happened.
This happens to lots of people. Stay calm.
A few easy tries usually get it working.
Try this
- Tap the link once, right in the middle of the words.
- Wait a few seconds. A slow internet can take a moment.
- Check that your internet is on at the top of the screen.
- If still nothing, close the app and open it again.
- Tap the link one more time, slow and steady.
- If it still will not open, the link may be broken.
A message you can copy
I tapped a link but it will not open on my [phone or computer]. What are some safe, simple things I can try?
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.
Buddy says
Be careful with links from people you do not know. A link that will not open can be a blessing.
