Some charges on a bill look strange. The names are often short and odd.

That does not always mean fraud. But it is smart to check.

You can describe a charge to ChatGPT. It can help you guess what it might be.

If a charge still seems wrong, call your bank. They can look into it for you.

Try this
  1. Open ChatGPT in your web browser.
  2. Type the charge name and the amount you see.
  3. Ask what kind of store or service it might be.
  4. Ask what to do if you still do not recognize it.
A message you can copy

I see a charge on my credit card that says [charge name] for [amount]. I do not remember it. Can you help me figure out what it might be and what I should do if I still do not recognize it?

Paste it into ChatGPT, then change the words in brackets to fit you. It opens in a new tab, so you will not lose this page.

ChatGPT can guess, but only your bank can confirm. Call them if a charge looks wrong.
