It is smart to check before you click. Fake sites copy the real one to trick you.

The real ChatGPT lives at chatgpt.com. Type that address yourself. Do not trust links in ads or emails.

Watch for odd web addresses, spelling errors, or sites that ask you to pay right away. Those are warning signs.

Try this
  1. Type chatgpt.com into your web address bar by hand.
  2. Look closely at the spelling of the address. Fakes often add extra words.
  3. If a site asks for your card or password fast, close it.
  4. When unsure, leave the page. You can always come back later.
