How to tell ChatGPT you did not understand that

You will see it is fine to say you are confused and ask for another try.

Being confused is not a failure. It just means it was not explained well yet.

You can tell ChatGPT you are lost. It will never judge you.

Ask it to explain again in a simpler way. Or with an example.

Keep asking until it clicks. This is exactly how learning works.

Try this
  1. Notice the part that confused you.
  2. Tell ChatGPT you did not understand it.
  3. Ask it to explain again more simply.
  4. Ask for a real-life example if that helps.
A message you can copy

I am still confused about [the part you did not get]. Can you explain it again in a simpler way, maybe with an example?

Paste it into ChatGPT, then change the words in brackets to fit you. It opens in a new tab, so you will not lose this page.
