Understand what your pharmacist tells you
Ask the pharmacy to check the steps with you.
If you missed part of what the pharmacist said, call back. You do not have to work out the steps from memory.
Have the full label ready. Keep the drug name, strength, dose, times, and warnings. The team needs these facts to check your plan.
An AI guess from a phrase you half recall is not a drug plan. You can use AI to help ask the question.
- Find the bottle and the pharmacy's phone number.
- Say which part you missed or want explained.
- Ask the team to go one step at a time.
- Use the label and notes to say the plan back.
- Ask for clear written steps in a form you can use.
Help me ask my pharmacist to repeat the steps slowly. Ask them to check that I know the dose, times, and warnings. Do not supply the answers.

If the label and what you recall do not agree, ask the pharmacy to clear it up. Keep the checked plan.
