Understand what your pharmacist tells you

You will learn how to make sense of what the pharmacist said.

Pharmacists give helpful directions. Sometimes they talk fast or use big words. It is okay to need a second look.

ChatGPT can take what you remember and explain it in plain words. You can type it the way you heard it.

It is not your pharmacist. Use it to understand. If you are unsure, call the pharmacy and ask again.

Try this
  1. Open ChatGPT in your web browser.
  2. Type what the pharmacist told you.
  3. Leave out your name and your medicine name. Use the word "my medicine" instead.
  4. Ask it to explain in plain, simple words.
  5. Call the pharmacy if you still have questions.
A message you can copy

My pharmacist told me: [paste the general instructions here, with no name or medicine name]. Please explain it in plain, simple words a beginner can understand. What should I make sure I do?

Paste it into ChatGPT, then change the words in brackets to fit you. It opens in a new tab, so you will not lose this page.
