Just tell it to keep things short. Ask for only what you need.
It will trim the answer right down for you.
Try this
- Ask your question in plain words.
- Add: just the answer please, nothing extra.
- If it still adds more, say: shorter, only the part I asked for.
A message you can copy
Please give me just the answer to [your question]. No extra tips, no examples, nothing else. Short and plain.
Paste it into ChatGPT, then change the words in brackets to fit you. It opens in a new tab, so you will not lose this page.
