Ask for a short reply with the facts you need.
You can ask for two short sentences or three brief points. ChatGPT may need a follow-up to get the length right.
Shorter is useful only if the reply still keeps the key facts.
Try this
- Ask your question in plain words.
- Say how short you want the reply.
- Name any date, number, or step it must keep.
- Read the result and check those details.
- If it is still long, ask for just the main point.
A message you can copy
Explain [topic] in two short sentences. Keep the key facts. Say if two sentences would leave out something I need.
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.
