How to delete a chat you do not want anymore
You will be able to remove a single chat you no longer need.
You can delete one chat from your chat list. Check that you have the right chat first.
Open its menu and choose Delete. Read the confirmation before you agree.
Deleted chats cannot be restored. If you just want to hide one from the list, use Archive instead.
Try this
- Save anything you need from that chat first.
- Find the chat and open its menu.
- Choose Delete.
- Read the confirmation, then agree only if you want it deleted.
Buddy says
Deleting a chat does not clear saved memory or files in Library. Review those separately if you want to remove their data too.
