How to copy ChatGPT's answer so you can paste it
You will be able to copy an answer and paste it into an email or note.
ChatGPT gives you an answer. You may want to keep it or use it somewhere else.
You can copy it. Copy means to make a quick, ready copy you can paste later.
Most answers have a small copy button near them. One tap copies the whole answer.
Then you go to your email or notes and paste. Paste drops the copied words right in.
Try this
- Look for the Copy button near the reply.
- Use it, then open the note or message where you want the words.
- On a phone, press and hold in the text box and choose Paste.
- On a computer, use Paste from the menu, or Command-V on Mac and Ctrl-V on Windows.
- Read the pasted text and check it before you send or save it.
