How do I copy an answer to use somewhere else?
Copy the words you need and check where you paste them.
Copy makes a second copy of the text. It does not move or send the original.
A reply's Copy option may copy the whole answer. Read the pasted text before you use it.
Try this
- Find the reply and choose Copy if it is shown.
- Or select just the words you need and choose Copy from the text menu.
- Open a private note or your draft message.
- Click or tap in the text box. Choose Paste.
- On a Mac, Command+V pastes. On Windows, Ctrl+V pastes.
- Remove extra text and fix errors before saving or sending.

Buddy says
Check names, dates, and the recipient. Pasting into a draft is not the last check.
