How do I compare two phone plans fairly?
Compare phone plans over the same length of time.
Choose a comparison period first. A phone plan's starting price may last only a few months. ChatGPT can add the prices you provide.
Sample: A costs $20 a month for three months, then $40 for nine. B costs $30 for all 12 months. Their listed yearly totals are $420 and $360.
B has the lower subtotal here. Coverage, data, device costs and other fees are not given. Check these before deciding which plan fits.
- Paste the sample into ChatGPT.
- Check both totals and the $60 difference.
- Use current terms for the same number of lines and months.
- Check data limits, coverage, taxes, device payments and exit terms.
Sample plan A: 3 months at $20, then 9 at $40. B: 12 months at $30. Compare these 12-month subtotals. Other terms are unknown. Do not decide which plan meets my needs.
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.
