Is this online store safe to buy from?
Check an online store before entering payment details.
ChatGPT can suggest checks for a shop. Its reply does not prove the shop is real. A neat page or HTTPS address does not prove that either.
Check the exact web address and business name. Look for reports from other sources. Read the shop's contact, delivery and return terms. Go beyond a star score.
Use a way to pay that has buyer protection where you can. Be wary if a seller demands gift codes, crypto or a wire transfer.
- Check the web address through a source you trust.
- Compare the seller's claims with independent sources.
- Use the sample to make a short checking list.
- Do not pay while key terms or the seller's identity remain unclear.
Sample shop: low prices, a contact form, five-star reviews on its own site. List three independent checks I should make before paying. Do not give it a safety score.
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.

If you already paid and suspect fraud, contact your payment provider promptly. Do not wait for an AI verdict.
