How do I know if a shopping website is safe?
Look beyond a shop's own page for facts you can check.
A shop can copy a logo, reviews and contact details. A well-spelled address or HTTPS does not prove it is honest.
ChatGPT can suggest checks. It cannot give a shop a seal of trust. Start with the exact address. Look for reports from other sources and clear return terms.
Check how your way to pay protects you. Keep records. Wait if key facts are unclear. If you paid and suspect fraud, contact your payment provider promptly.
