How do I find a chat I had with ChatGPT before?
Find a saved chat and check that it is the right one.
Chat history belongs to the account you used. A chat from another account will not appear in this list.
Some chats may be archived. Temporary or deleted chats may not be available.
Try this
- Check your account and workspace.
- Open the chat list or sidebar.
- Read the titles, or use Search if offered.
- Try a word you remember from the chat.
- Open the result and read a few messages.
- Check archived chats in Settings if you still cannot find it.
