Mayfield Learning
Terms

The simple terms.

How to use Mayfield Learning, in plain language, the way our lessons are written.

Last updated: May 29, 2026

By using Mayfield Learning, you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them short and readable.

Using Mayfield

The lessons are free for your personal learning. You can read them with or without an account. Please don’t scrape, copy wholesale, resell, or pass off our content as your own.

Your account

If you create a free account, give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized access. One account is for one person.

Be decent

Don’t misuse the service, with no attempts to break, overload, or abuse it, and nothing illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.

Important: this is education, not professional advice

Mayfield lessons are general education to help you use AI tools confidently. They are not professional medical, financial, legal, or other expert advice. For decisions that matter, like your health, your money, or legal questions, always check with a qualified professional.

AI tools can be confident and still be wrong. We teach you to double-check important answers, and you’re responsible for how you use anything you learn here.

Our content

The lessons, Buddy, and Mayfield brand are ours. We grant you a personal, non-commercial license to learn from them. We don’t claim ownership of anything you create using what you learn.

No warranties; limits

We work hard to keep Mayfield accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is,” without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Mayfield Learning isn’t liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes & ending

We may update these terms; we’ll update the date above and flag significant changes. You can stop using Mayfield and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for violations of these terms.
