Reply to an email

Let us go through this together, one little step at a time.

Tap each step once you have done it. Nothing is timed. Pause and check before sending, deleting, or agreeing to anything.

1. 1Open your email app.
2. 2Look for an envelope or letter icon.
3. 3Tap the email you want to answer.
4. 4It opens up.
5. 5Look for the Reply button.
6. 6It is a curved arrow.
7. 7It may be at the top or bottom.
8. 8Tap the curved arrow.
9. 9A small menu may pop up.
10. 10If it does, tap Reply.
11. 11Do not tap Reply All for now.
12. 12A space to type appears.
13. 13The person's address is already filled in for you.
14. 14Tap that space and type your message.
15. 15When you are happy with it, look for Send.
16. 16It is often a paper-plane shape.
17. 17Check the full To address, your message, and any files before sending.
18. 18Tap Send.
19. 19Look for a folder called Sent.
20. 20Check Sent for your reply. If it is in Outbox or shows an error, it may not have sent yet.
