What is text-to-speech?
You will know how to have words read aloud when reading is tiring.
Text-to-speech reads words out loud to you. Your device says the words on the screen.
It helps if your eyes are tired. It also helps if reading on a screen feels hard.
Many phones and computers have this built in. You can turn it on in your settings.
Listening can be a nice break. There is no shame in using it.
Try this
- Open the settings on your phone or computer.
- Look for words like Accessibility or Spoken Content.
- Turn on the read aloud option.
- Try it on a page of text to hear how it sounds.
