What is autocorrect?
You will understand autocorrect and feel less annoyed by it.
Autocorrect is your phone trying to help you spell. It changes words it thinks are wrong.
Often it helps and saves you time. Sometimes it guesses wrong and picks the wrong word.
This is not your fault. The phone is just guessing, and guesses are not always right.
You can always fix a word it changed. Just tap and type it again.
Try this
- If a wrong word appears, do not worry.
- Tap on the word to put your cursor there.
- Delete it and type the word you meant.
- Read your message before you send it.
