What is a menu on a website or app?

You will know where hidden choices live and how to open them.

A menu is a list of choices. It opens when you tap a button.

Often the button is three little lines stacked up. Some people call it the hamburger.

Tapping it shows your options, like Settings or Home. It hides them again when you are done.

Try this
  1. Look in a corner of the screen for three little lines.
  2. Tap them once.
  3. A list of choices will slide open.
  4. Tap the choice you want.

If a screen looks too plain, look for those three lines. Many choices hide there.
