What is a chatbot, really?
You will know what a chatbot is and feel ready to try one.
A chatbot is a computer helper you talk to by typing. You type a question. It types an answer back.
ChatGPT is one kind of chatbot. It is free to use and very patient. You can ask it anything.
You do not need special words. Just type like you would talk to a kind person. That is enough.
A message you can copy
Hello. I am new to this. Can you explain [your topic] in very simple words?
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.
Buddy says
A chatbot never gets tired of your questions. Ask as many as you like.
