What does a tab mean on my screen?

You will know what tabs are and feel calm opening more than one.

A tab is one open web page. It sits along the top of your screen.

You can have a few tabs open at once. Each one holds a different page.

Think of tabs like papers on a desk. You click one to bring it to the front.

Too many tabs can feel busy. You can close any you are done with.

Try this
  1. Look at the top edge of your browser.
  2. You may see small boxes in a row. Those are your tabs.
  3. Click a tab to switch to that page.
  4. Click the little X on a tab to close it.
