The up arrow button is how you send
Check your words, then send your question.
The Send button is beside the message box. It often looks like an up arrow.
It may be unavailable while the box is empty, a file is still loading, or a reply is running.
Try this
- Type a short question in the message box.
- Read it once to check for private details and typos.
- Choose Send once.
- Check that your question appears in the chat.
- Wait for the reply. Read any error shown before you try again.
A message you can copy
Tell me three simple facts about [topic]. Keep each fact to one short sentence.
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.
