You will be able to let ChatGPT remember small things to help you better.

3 min read Always free

ChatGPT can remember little facts about you. This is called memory.

It might remember your name, or that you like short answers. Then it helps you in a way that fits you.

You can turn memory on or off in the settings. You stay in charge of it.

You can also tell it to remember something just by saying so in a chat.

Try this
  1. Open the settings and look for memory.
  2. Turn memory on if you want it.
  3. In a chat, you can say, please remember this about me.
  4. To clear it, go back to settings and remove what it saved.
A message you can copy

Please remember that I like short, simple answers with no big words.

Paste it into ChatGPT, then change the words in brackets to fit you. It opens in a new tab, so you will not lose this page.
