What the little dots mean before your answer
Know when to wait and when to check for a problem.
Moving dots can mean that a reply is loading. They do not prove that all is well or that a reply will arrive soon.
Some replies take longer. A stuck page or a lost connection can also leave you waiting.
Try this
- Wait a little and look for words or a status message.
- Read any error or limit notice that appears.
- If it stays stuck, save any unsent draft before reloading.
- Check that another web page loads.
- Try once more after the page recovers. If it fails again, note the error for support.
