How do I talk to ChatGPT instead of typing?
Speak a draft and fix any words it heard wrong.
Dictation puts your speech into the message box. It is different from a voice chat that speaks replies.
Use the dictation mic if your app offers it. Your phone keyboard may have a mic too.
Try this
- Tap the message box.
- Start dictation with the app or keyboard mic.
- Allow microphone use if you choose to.
- Speak one sentence, then stop the mic.
- Read the words. Correct names, numbers, and typos.
- Choose Send when the draft is right.
