When the phone keyboard gets in the way
Make space to read and type on a phone.
The keyboard takes up part of a small screen. Hiding it can give you more room to read.
Its controls vary by phone. Turning the phone sideways may help, but some screens do not rotate.
Try this
- Tap the message box to show the keyboard.
- Type a short draft and read it before sending.
- To hide the keyboard, try its down arrow if shown. On Android, the Back control may close it.
- Scroll the reply to read the rest.
- If typing is hard, try your keyboard's mic. Check the words before sending.
