When the phone keyboard gets in the way

You will learn simple tricks so the keyboard stays out of your way.

On a small phone, the keyboard can cover your words. This is normal and fixable.

Your message is still there. It just scrolls up behind the keyboard.

You can hide the keyboard when you want to read. You can bring it back when you want to type.

If typing feels hard, you can use voice instead. Speaking is often easier.

Try this
  1. Tap the chat box to bring up the keyboard.
  2. Tap an empty part of the screen, or the down arrow, to hide it again.
  3. Scroll up with your finger to read what was covered.
  4. Try the voice icon if typing feels tiring.
