Watch for rushing. "Only 2 left!" or "Buy in 5 minutes!" Those lines push you to hurry. Real deals let you think.
ChatGPT can help you check. You describe the deal. It can point out warning signs in plain words. But it cannot see the website. So use your own care too.
- Stop and breathe. Do not rush.
- Look at the price next to the normal price.
- Ask yourself if a real store would ever sell it that low.
- Describe the deal to ChatGPT and ask if it sounds risky.
- If it feels off, walk away. There will be other deals.
