How to sign up using your email instead of Google
You will learn to make a ChatGPT account with just your email and a password.
You may be able to sign up with your email instead of a Google button.
Choose the email option if the real sign-up screen offers it. Follow the steps it shows.
If you already have an account, use its original sign-in method. A new account will not bring over the old chats.
Try this
- Open chatgpt.com and choose Sign up.
- Choose the email option if it is shown.
- Enter an email address you can open.
- Set a long, unique password if asked.
- Complete the email check for this sign-up. Keep any code private.

If an email does not arrive, check the address you entered and your spam folder.
