How do I put a ChatGPT icon on my home screen?
Add a shortcut to the official website.
A website shortcut opens the site from your home screen. It is not the same as downloading the official ChatGPT app.
The menu names depend on your browser and phone.
Try this
- Open chatgpt.com in your phone's browser.
- On iPhone Safari, choose More, then Share. Some layouts show Share directly.
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add. If missing, check Edit Actions in the Share list.
- On Android Chrome, open More, then Install and create shortcut, then Create shortcut.
- Name the shortcut and choose Add.
- Open it from the home screen and check that it takes you to ChatGPT.
