Tell ChatGPT to keep it under a word count
You will learn to ask ChatGPT to stay under a set number of words.
Sometimes you have a tight space. You may need a short note that fits.
You can give ChatGPT a limit. Just say keep it under 50 words, or any number you want.
It will try to stay close to that. If it goes over, you can ask it to trim a bit more.
Try this
- Decide how many words you can fit.
- Type your request to ChatGPT.
- Add keep it under, then your number, then words.
- Check the length and ask for shorter if needed.

Write a short note about [your topic]. Please keep it under 50 words.
Paste it into ChatGPT, then change the words in brackets to fit you. It opens in a new tab, so you will not lose this page.
