Why ChatGPT's answers feel fuzzy, and how to fix it
You will learn small fixes that make ChatGPT's answers clear.
Fuzzy answers usually mean ChatGPT does not have enough to go on.
When your question is broad, the answer comes back broad too.
Add a few details. Say who it is for and what you want. The answer gets sharper.
Try this
- Add one or two facts about your situation.
- Say exactly what you want, like a list or a short plan.
- If it is still fuzzy, ask it to be more specific.
A message you can copy
That answer was too general for me. Here are my details: [add a few facts]. Please give me a clear, specific answer.
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.
