Sometimes ChatGPT remembers a detail about you. You can ask it to forget that.

Memory is a feature that lets it recall things across chats. It is meant to help, but you are in charge.

You can simply ask it to forget. You can also turn memory off in your settings.

Try this
  1. In a chat, type: please forget what you saved about me.
  2. To do more, open your settings or account area.
  3. Look for a section called Memory.
  4. There you can clear saved details or turn memory off.
A message you can copy

Please forget anything you have saved about [the detail you want gone]. Do not use it again.

Paste it into ChatGPT, then change the words in brackets to fit you. It opens in a new tab, so you will not lose this page.
