Can ChatGPT give me a different answer?
Ask for a specific change to a reply.
A clear follow-up is a useful way to get a new version. Say what did not fit.
A fresh answer is not proof that an error was fixed. Check the changed part.
Try this
- Keep a copy of the first version if you want to compare them.
- Stay in the same chat.
- Name one change, such as a warmer tone or fewer steps.
- Send the request and read the new version.
- Check that useful facts were kept and the problem was fixed.
A message you can copy
Please revise your last answer about [topic]. Change [specific part]. Keep [facts or wording to preserve].
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.
Buddy says
You do not need a redo button. A typed follow-up can explain the change.
