Can I ask ChatGPT to check its own answer?
You will learn to ask ChatGPT to look over its answer for mistakes.
Yes. ChatGPT can make mistakes. You can ask it to check again.
Just say please double-check that. It will read its own answer with fresh eyes.
It may catch an error or make the answer clearer. This is a smart habit.
Try this
- Read the answer ChatGPT gave.
- Reply and ask it to double-check.
- You can say are you sure about this?
- Read what it says the second time.
- Compare the two answers.
A message you can copy
Please double-check that answer. Is anything wrong or missing?
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.
