Is Mayfield Learning really free?
Yes. Every lesson is free to read, with no card and no account needed. There is no paywall and no catch.
Do I need to pay for ChatGPT?
No. The free version of ChatGPT is all you need for everything we teach. You never have to enter a card to start.
Do I need to make an account?
You can read every lesson without one. A free account just saves your place, so you can pick up where you left off on any device.
I am not good with computers. Can I still do this?
Yes. We go one small step at a time, in plain words, and you can re-read anything as often as you like. There are no marks and no rush.
What is AI, in plain words?
It is a helper you talk to by typing. You ask in everyday language, and it writes an answer back. That is the whole idea, and our first lesson walks you through it.
Which AI should I use to start?
We recommend ChatGPT. We keep it to one friendly tool so it stays simple. You can always explore others later, once you feel confident.
Is my information safe?
We collect the minimum, never sell it, and you can delete your account anytime. Inside the lessons we also show you what is safe to share and what to keep private.
What if I get stuck on a lesson?
That is completely normal. Re-read the step, try the example again, or move on and come back. Nothing is timed, and you cannot break anything.
Will AI replace people, or is it dangerous?
AI is a tool that helps with everyday tasks like writing and understanding. We teach you to use it calmly and safely, and to double-check anything that really matters.
How long does each lesson take?
Usually just a few minutes. You can do one a day, ten at a time, or whatever fits your life. It is your pace, always.
