Save a phone number
Saving a number means your phone holds it for you. Next time, you just tap their name. No more hunting through old texts or calls. No more writing numbers on scraps of paper. Your phone does the remembering, so you do not have to.

Tap each step once you have done it. Nothing is timed. Pause and check before sending, deleting, or agreeing to anything.
No phone of your own? A library or shared computer can hold an online address book too. Or keep a small paper notebook with names and numbers. That is free and works just fine.
Tap the number, or the small i in a circle. Choose Add to Contacts. Type a name. Tap Save. That is all it takes.
