Join a video call someone sent you

Let us go through this together, one little step at a time.

Tap each step once you have done it. This is just for you. Nothing is timed, and nothing can go wrong.

1. 1Open the text message or email they sent you.
2. 2Find the link. It is usually blue.
3. 3Tap or click the blue link one time.
4. 4It may open an app. Or it may ask to open in your web browser. Either way is fine.
5. 5Tap to continue.
6. 6If you see a Join button, tap it. Some calls join you right away.
7. 7If it asks to use your camera and microphone, tap Allow. This lets your friend see and hear you.
8. 8If a box asks for your name, type any name you like.
9. 9Then tap continue. Some calls skip this step, so do not worry if you never see it.
10. 10Wait a moment. The person may need to let you in. That is normal.
11. 11When you are done, look for the red button to hang up. It is usually round. It may have a little phone on it, or it may say Leave.
12. 12Tap the red button to leave.
