Wi-Fi connects your device to the internet. Then you can browse, watch, and message. It does not use up your phone data plan. At home, you set it up once. After that, your device joins on its own. At a library or cafe, you may tap Agree each visit. That is normal too.

Hi, it is Buddy. Connecting to Wi-Fi sounds techy. But it is really just two small steps. You pick a network name. Then you type a password. We will go nice and slow, together. You truly cannot break anything by trying. So relax.

Let us go through this together, one little step at a time.
Tap each step once you have done it. This is just for you. Nothing is timed, and nothing can go wrong.

At a library or cafe, the Wi-Fi is often free with no password. Ask the staff which name to use, or look for a sign. That way you pick the real one. Sometimes a page opens. It asks you to tap Agree or Accept to start. That is normal. Free Wi-Fi will never ask for your bank or money. If a page does, close it and ask a staff member. On public Wi-Fi, save banking and passwords for when you are home.
Pick your network name. Then type the password exactly. Capital letters matter. A wrong password just means try again.
