Instructions before a procedure can feel confusing. It is fine to want them simpler.

ChatGPT is a free typing helper. You can paste the instructions you got.

It will explain them in plain words. Then you can follow them with more peace of mind.

Try this
  1. Open ChatGPT and find the typing box.
  2. Type or paste the instructions you were given.
  3. Leave out your name, birth date, and any account or ID numbers. A made-up name is fine.
  4. Ask it to explain each step in plain words.
  5. Write down anything you want to double check with your doctor.
A message you can copy

I got these instructions before my procedure: [paste only the part you do not understand, with no name or numbers]. Please explain them in plain, simple words.

Paste it into ChatGPT, then change the words in brackets to fit you. It opens in a new tab, so you will not lose this page.
