How do I understand the directions on my new pill bottle?

Keep the drug name, strength, dose, and timing on the label you show them. Removing names and numbers can remove facts they need.

- Ask how much to take, how to take it, and when.
- Ask about food, warnings, and a missed dose.
- Say the plan back in your own words. Ask them to check it.
