How to sort your grocery list by aisle
Group a grocery list without losing items or amounts.
ChatGPT can group items by food type. It may not know your shop's layout. A section name is a useful guess, not an exact aisle number.
Sample: two apples, one milk carton and one tin of beans belong in produce, dairy and canned goods. Keep each amount.
Compare the new list with the old one. Check nothing was added, missed or counted twice. Change the group order to match your actual shop.
- Paste the sample below.
- Check all three items and amounts remain.
- Compare every item on your real list.
- Reorder sections for your shop and save a checked copy.
Group this sample list into produce, dairy and canned goods: two apples, one milk carton, one tin of beans. Keep the amounts. Do not add foods or invent aisle numbers.
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.

Your store may group items differently. Use its signs or ask staff.
