Make a packing list for a hospital stay
Use the hospital's instructions to make a packing list.
Ask the hospital what to bring for your stay. Its rules come first. ChatGPT can sort a list you give it. It does not know every item allowed on a ward.
Sample list: glasses, a medicine list and clothes the ward allows. Keep each item. A medicine list is not an order to take your own pills on the ward.
Check the real list with your care team. Add private details outside chat. Ask what to do with medicines, devices and things of value.
- Read the hospital's list of what to bring.
- Paste the sample below.
- Check that all three items keep their meaning.
- Ask the hospital about unclear items, then pack.
Make a checklist from this sample: glasses, current medicine list, clothes the ward allows. Do not add medicines, food or care steps.
Paste the message into ChatGPT, then fill in any blanks before you send it. ChatGPT opens in a new tab. Opening it does not send the message.

For a real stay, follow the care team's directions about what you take and when.
