Before we start

Let's get your AI open first.

An AI helper is a free tool that answers what you type, in plain words. The one we use is called ChatGPT.

Open it now. In your browser, type chatgpt.com and press Enter. On a phone, tap the ChatGPT app if you have it. If it asks you to sign in or pick a plan, that is normal. The free plan is all you need.

You cannot break a thing here. There is no wrong button. Today we just save one short prompt you can use over and over.

The big idea

Some tasks come back again and again.

A one-time question is asked once and never again. You do not need to save that.

But some tasks repeat. Think of the same kind of polite note, a weekly list, or a short notice. Those are worth saving.

A prompt is just the words you type to ChatGPT. Today you write one prompt you can reuse. Pick one repeat task to try:

A note you resenda polite note to your landlord about a repair

A weekly lista grocery list for the week

One rule keeps you safe. Leave out anything private, like names or account numbers. Those go in a [blank] you fill in each time. A [blank] is a spot you fill in fresh, like a fill-in-the-blank line on paper.

Skip the big stuff. For money, health, legal, or account choices, ask a real person.
